How do i fill the hydraulic oil in my case 480b backhoe?

What type of oils are good to use? The loader seems to be the oil tanks on both sides of the loader, ventted at the top. There is a plug on the side of the tank that I think might be where to fill to,might I be right? Any help, thanks in advance.

The hydraulic oil filler plug and dipstick are all in one ad are located 6 inches ahead of the shift lever and over to the right 2 inches. It requires a 1 1/2 inch socket to remove it. There is a similar one behind the shift lever and below the seat area that is for the rear axle fluid fill and check.

A good oil to use is hydraulic-transmission oil also known as Hy-Tran. You can get this at any farm supply or tractor dealer. You were right about the breathers location and oil reservoir IS in the loader frame.

The hydraulic oil filler plug with dipstick are all in one and are located 6 inches ahead of the center of the shift lever and over to the right of center 2 inches. It requires a 1 1/2 inch socket to remove it. This is the fill location and dipstick.

There is a similar plug with dipstick on it behind the shift lever 7 inches and 3 inches to the left of center, it is below the seat area that is for the rear axle fluid fill and check. It also requires a 1 1/2 inch socket. This is the fill location and dipstick
